PHPA

Membership Assistance Program

To help PHPA Members deal with a wide range of personal or work-related issues, the Professional Hockey Players' Association and Ceridian LifeWorks Services have teamed up to provide the Members Assistance Program (MAP) for all PHPA Members and their families.

To offset the cost of this program, the PHPA hosts an annual Captain's Club jersey auction where every ECHL team donates a game-worn jersey belonging to their team Captain which is auctioned by MeiGray each June.

Through the MAP, those individuals in need are eligible for a wide range of confidential professional support services. Ceridian's LifeWorks program is available to assist with issues such as:

Life: Stress and overload, addiction and recovery, relationships, depression, work-life balance, divorce and separation, grief and loss, everyday issues, home improvements

Family: Parenting, child care, adoption, discipline and safety, teenagers, single parenting, blended families, education, college planning, financial aid, caring for seniors, caregiver resources

Work: Time management, career development, coworker relationships, communication, job stress and burnout, relocations, business travel, retirement planning
